Who We Are

The data controller for your personal data is Nelly Azeez, sole trader, trading as Off-Book, at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom.

What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, Off-Book receives your name and email address. This is the only personal data we collect. We do not request access to your Google contacts, calendar, drive, or any other Google services unless you explicitly connect them via the integrations settings.

How We Use It

Your name and email are used solely to create and manage your Off-Book account. We use your email to send you service-critical notifications (e.g. account changes). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

How We Protect It

All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Only you can access your personal content. Off-Book staff do not access user content except where required to resolve a support request you initiate.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Go to Settings, scroll to Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm. Before you delete, you can download a copy of your data from the same screen.

When you delete your account we erase your data straight away. This includes your scripts, script breakdowns, actioning, quiz history, characters, warm-ups, rehearsal records, your profile, and the files you uploaded. If you have a paid subscription it is cancelled at the same time.

Two things are kept, because they do not identify you:

• •Feedback you sent us is kept so we can act on it, but it is anonymised. Your name, email and account are removed from it.
• •Off-Book keeps shared, anonymous caches that make the app faster for everyone, such as generated audio and script analysis. These are stored by content, hold nothing that identifies you, and are shared across users, so they are not tied to your account and are not deleted when you leave.

Your Rights

You may export your data at any time from within the app.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
