Common questions
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. The free plan requires no payment details whatsoever. You only need a card when you upgrade to Pro.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes, any time. If you cancel, you stay on Pro until the end of your billing period, then drop back to Free, and no data is lost.
What happens to my scripts if I downgrade?
Nothing. Script uploads are unlimited on both plans, so every script stays yours to open, edit and work on. What changes is the monthly allowance: rehearsal and quiz sessions go back to 5 each per month.
Is there a student or drama school discount?
Yes: email us at support@off-book.app with your institution and we'll sort you out.

Before you decide
The craft tools, unmetered: unlimited script uploads, units and objectives, actioning, and character profiles. What the free plan caps is the parts that cost us to run: 5 new scenes a month in the Rehearsal Studio (a scene you have rehearsed before is always free to run again) and 5 Script Quiz sessions a month.
£12 a month, or £75 per year which works out at £6.25 a month, billed yearly. Starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel inside the app before it ends.
Nothing is deleted. Your scripts, units, objectives, actions and character work stay exactly as they are. You go back to the free monthly allowance on rehearsal and quiz sessions, and everything else carries on as before.
Only if you want Off-Book to listen for your cues. There is a manual mode where you tap to move the scene on, which is what you want in a loud room, on a train, or on a device without a usable mic.
