Acting is listening — your line lives in response to the one before it, and reading both halves of a scene yourself teaches your ear the wrong rhythm. But a human scene partner is a luxury: they get tired, they’re not free at 2am before a callback, and nobody wants to run the same page fifteen times.

The Rehearsal Studio is built around one principle from real rehearsal rooms: the scene keeps moving. The cue fires when you reach your last word — never on silence, never gated on whether you were word-perfect — because on set, a fluffed line doesn’t stop the take. Accuracy is scored quietly in the background and shown at the end, in a debrief that lists every imperfect line with what you actually said next to what was written. Feedback belongs after the scene, not in the middle of it.

The voices come from ElevenLabs — the same natural speech engine used across film and games — and each character in your scene can be cast with a different voice. Saved objectives from Units & Objectives feed into the AI partner’s delivery, so the scene is played, not just read.
